Side projects
With the low number of tasks on work, I'm starting to build some side projects.
The idea
One of my objectives this year, is to build as many React projects as possible, to build a portfolio, and maybe get a job in the web development world.
With that in mind, I started this weather project based on some video on youtube, but it used only Javascript. I'm adapting it to React.
As you can see on the image, I'm using 5 components and testing then on storybook. They are:
- LocationSearch
- Humidity
- Wind
- WeatherInfo
- WeatherCard
A component that holds the searchField and has 2 icons, one leading and the other one trailing, with the action to search the location typed by the user.
A component that has an humidity icon and recives the value of the humidity of the location.
A similar compoent to humidity, but for the wind speed.
A component that holds a image depending on the weather, and then it's temperature and weather description.
A component that holds all above and put a border and limits on them.

Today was another good learning day, we pratice talking a lot, and then we did another game of kahoot, as I hold the winner's belt, and this time receive a donut as a bonus
